FIRTHA is Scottish for "arm of the sea". The symbolism speaks for itself because the thick gold arms of the ring enclose the beautiful sea blue topaz that is mined in Scotland! Next to the topaz, subtly placed diamonds.

This ring is robust, tough, sweet, and romantic; as much as what Scotland means to the designer of the piece, Goldsmith Margriet. This ring may suit the more down-to-earth woman, the jewel and the gemstones are made with the aim of being worn daily. The material, solid gold or platinum, can take a beating.

Ring FIRTHA can be ordered at Margriet Jewels, it comes from the new Gràdh collection. The model has a perfect quality: heavy and solid. Did you know that you are able to choose the precious metal for your jewelry yourself? The options in the selection menu below the piece of jewelry show you that. The topaz used is beautiful in size (8 x 6 millimeters) and set (or in this case embraced) by a particularly sturdy chaton. In addition, we see two 0.03 carat diamonds, which means a size of two millimeters, set in a bezel setting and the quality VSI Top Wessleton.

In the past, all yellow and golden-brown gemstones were called green topaz. The name probably comes from, among other places, the island of Zebirget in the Red Sea, which used to be called Topazos.

Diamond gets its name because of its hardness, there is nothing with equal hardness, so it is almost imperishable. How a diamond is judged is quite subjective. A pure diamond is colorless. Usually, it applies; the less colour, the purer, so the more valuable. Certain relatively common discolorations, such as yellow, lower the value of the diamond. Of course, these stones will still be valuable.

  Ik heb deze ring cadeau gegeven aan mijn vrouw voor ons 30 jarig huwelijk, ze was er erg blij mee echt een schot in de roos, verder ben ik erg te spreken over de service die Margriet Jewels biedt ik wilde in de ring namelijk graag iets laten graveren en dat was gelukkig mogelijk in een kort tijdsbestek.
