AEONIUM means IMMORTAL. A name that fits the hand jewel, given the possibility to immortalize an illustration, initials, or, for example, a family coat of arms in the stone that is placed in the signet ring. 'Aeonium' is a handmade, solid ring of heavy quality. Seal the most beautiful moments of your life. 

There is a possibility to engrave other figures or a monogram in the (layer) stone. You can also choose to make ring AEONIUM without a stone, an example is ring MACHARA. Furthermore, ring AEONIUM can be made from your own old gold, ask for the possibilities.

Family tradition

Some families traditionally have a coat of arms, often worn by the heads of the family and in a signet ring. This unique ring is often passed on from father to son, but increasingly also to daughters.

Ring AEONIUM, like all jewelry from the GRÀDH and REIJN collections, is made to order and handmade by Goldsmith Margriet. The engraving in the (layer) stone is made by a master engraver who can manually add the most beautiful details to the layer stone. 
Whether you choose a coat of arms engraving or your own design; everything is possible.

The family coat of arms stone
As the name suggests, a layer stone consists of several layers. The hand engraver will cut away (engrave) the top layer by hand, revealing the underlying layer. This gives you a beautiful contrast in which a beautiful drawing is brought to life in the signet ring. With an engraving in a stone without layers, such as onyx, the engraving remains completely black. This engraving will be visible due to the height difference and the gloss, but will not stand out as well as that in a layer stone.
